The exhibit, curated by Luca Molinari Studio presents the five projects designed by aMDL – Architetto Michele De Lucchi, Archea Associati, CZA Cino Zucchi Architetti, Lissoni Architettura and Substantial Architecture for the architecture competition promoted by SIT, Società Impianti Turistici Ponte di Legno for a new spa and wellness centre in Ponte di Legno, jewel in the crown of Alta Valle Camonica, within the Comprensorio Pontedilegno-Tonale, a natural paradise in the mountains between Lombardy and Trentino.
In the words of Luca Molinari, bringing contemporary architecture into the alpine territory through selection and analytical processes represents a challenge and the will to welcome the “best design quality” to “shape innovative signs”, sensible architectures able to transform “contemporary monuments into open houses, fragments of a better future” for the Italian landscape. Through the contest Comprensorio Pontedilegno-Tonale aims to produce a conscious and mindful architecture strengthening the entire economy revolving around the mountains of the Adamello group and offering services for health and wellbeing of the highest order.
Water, light, wellbeing exhibit design is signed by Vudafieri-Saverino Partners with Cristofori Santi Architetti. In the hall of Triennale di Milano a simple, yet finely drawn sequence of 6 clusters provide an insight on the competition proposals and design teams led by Marco Casamonti, Michele De Lucchi, Cino Zucchi, Piero Lissoni and Camillo Botticini with Francisco Mangado, as well as on the one-of-a-kind context of the thermal baths that will rise in the heart of Ponte di Legno in 2020.
