“There is no other institution in the city that embodies such institutional, communal, and intellectual complexity in perfect continuity with Milanese history.” — Luca Molinari

“La Grande Brera. A Community of Arts and Sciences” celebrates the cultural, architectural, and social history of one of Milan’s most iconic monumental complexes. The exhibition traces Brera’s transformation from a monolithic building to a vibrant, interconnected urban fragment, recounting a journey spanning over five centuries. It features a carefully curated selection of artworks, sculptures, frescoes, and historical objects, many of which have been restored for the occasion.
